AUTUMN LIGHTS LA 2012 is a multi-media light art spectacular and has become an extremely popular date on Los Angeles’ cultural calendar. It has grown tremendously over its seven years, celebrating an unprecedented success in 2010 attracting over 15,000 people in one night at Pershing Square. This year we are planning to double attendance by adding much more exciting illuminated interactive features and artists to our roster celebrating our city’s cultural diversity and promoting it as a capital of inspiration, innovation and vision.

 

AUTUMN LIGHTS LA 2012  celebrates local artists, impacts neighborhoods, involves different cultures and attracts people from the area and afar, and is the only experience of its kind on the West coast.This year presentations from light artists from all over the world including Canada, Germany, France and Mexico are added to the roster. AUTUMN LIGHTS LA 2012  is a community event, free to the public, family friendly, and entertaining for all ages. The fantastic light art experiences include light and sound performances, live music, interactive light and sound sculptures, 3-D theatre performances, interactive blacklight live painting, installations, projections and photo booth and much more.

AUTUMN LIGHTS LA 2012  is a confluence of light, color and subject matter conveyed and brightened through the contributions of the audience’s diversity and life experience.

Lights switch on at 6 PM September 22, 2012: Pershing Square will be literally transformed and illuminated as the entertainment continues and a diverse range of illuminated artworks and projections light up park architecture and surrounding buildings.
